Meta Quest)
(Meta)
Privacy Policy — Dahrooj (Meta Quest version)
In short
- We do not collect, sell or share your personal data.
- There are no accounts, ads, usage analytics, crash reporting or in-app purchases.
- The app does not request internet access and works entirely offline.
- Your progress and settings stay on your headset.
What is stored on your headset
The game keeps one file in the app’s private storage on the headset. It holds your language, VR or mixed-reality choice, haptics, quality and sound settings, throw and shot style, best scores, challenge progress and Dahrooj’s look (style, colour and accessory).
- This file never leaves the headset, and we never receive it.
- Android cloud backup is turned off for this app.
- You can reset the challenges from the menu’s General page. Uninstalling the game deletes the file.
Your room in mixed reality
If you play in mixed reality and allow the “spatial data” permission (USE_SCENE), the game reads the room you set up in Space Setup on your headset: walls, floor, ceiling, tables and furniture, as simple planes and boxes. The game uses them, on the headset only, to:
- place the court on your floor or a table;
- bring Dahroojs out of your walls and furniture;
- let Dahrooj bounce off them.
This data is not saved or sent anywhere, and it leaves memory when the game closes. If you decline the permission, the game simply uses the floor.
Cameras, microphone and location
- The game never reads camera images. The passthrough view of your room is drawn by the headset’s system, and the game has no access to it.
- The game does not use the microphone or location, or eye, face, body or hand tracking.
- Head and controller positions are used moment to moment for play and are not stored.
Purchase check (Meta)
In the copy installed from the Meta Horizon Store, the game asks the Meta platform at launch whether your account owns it. The check runs through Meta’s services on the headset, and we receive no information about you from it. Meta processes your account, purchases and headset data under its own privacy policy, which is separate from this one.
Children
The game does not ask for a name, email address or age, and has no chat or contact between players. Access is governed by Meta account settings, family supervision tools and the store’s age rating.
